Freezing temperatures outside mean it’s time to hibernate! This round-up of cozy winter bedding for kids and adults alike will keep you warm at night (and make it a teensy bit harder to get up in the morning).

Snow’s swirling outside my window with the year’s first blizzard in New England, and all I can think about is snuggling up in my cozy bed, with its fluffy down comforter and soft flannel sheets.
When the temperature dips below freezing, I can’t wait to take our winter bedding out of the linen closet! If you haven’t tried flannel sheets yet, now’s the time. In early January loads of stores have white sales, which means you can find them – along with comforters, duvets, and blankets – at fantastic prices.
Just yesterday I added another king-size flannel sheet set to my winter bedding collection for just $20! Now we’ll have one set ready when the other one’s in the wash.

Flannel winter bedding isn’t all log-cabin plaid and old-lady florals.
If your only association with flannel is lumberjack shirts and old-lady nightgowns, think again! There are so many modern choices for winter bedding sets in lots of fun patterns and colors. But hurry! With great sale prices, they’re sure to sell out soon.
